Meter-readings and billing

Aiming at making the work of gas consumption meter-reading as well as the follow-up correct issuance of invoices more effective, as of July 2004, SPP, a.s. shifted to a new way of meter-reading execution as well as to billing in cycles.

The billing in cycles means that meter-reading and billing is done only for a part of the households rather than for all of them at a time by the 31st of March of the current year. The billing is executed minimally once in 12 months.

The meter-reading is executed by employees of SPP, a.s., who can prove their identity on request by presenting their service cards. Every customer received information about the date when such billing meter-reading will be executed with him regularly in the future at the time of the first cyclic billing.
