following the previous single-topic reports which we sent you in printed form, we would now like to move on to sending you in a regular electronic format information about important changes in the gas market and also on SPP’s news, products and projects.
Despite our position as a key gas supplier we at SPP fully recognise above all else our responsibility to ensure safe and reliable gas supplies for all our customers.Over the course of the past months we have therefore focused particularly on diversifying our sources of gas, due in part to our experience from solving the January crisis during which in the short time we carried out a number of measures. |

Although Gazprom Export remains our main supplier, by signing contracts with E.ON Ruhrgas in July and with GdF Suez and VNG in September 2009 (for details see http://www.spp.sk/en/the-media/) we have managed to ensure for Slovak customers alternative gas suppliers from the diversified portfolio of these companies. From alternative sources we can now today obtain up to 20% of the annual volume of SPP’s gas sales, which we consider to be an excellent result. |

In addition to information directly relating to gas supply, we bring you in this report also news from the field of advice and social responsibility, which is an integral component of our approach to business. SPP is financially involved in a number of projects aimed at culture, architecture, the environment and education and for its activities has repeatedly received the award TOP Corporate Philanthropist for 2009 in the field of supporting social and public life.I believe that just as in the past, you will in the coming period find us a reliable partner for your business.
