again, we are here to inform you about the situation in the gas market – but also about SPP´s new services.
The Slovak gas market is currently fully liberalized, featuring real competitive activities. SPP, even in this competitive environment, succeeded - with its overall market share as high as 82 % - in upholding its key supplier position for the year 2010. This, considering the activities of several other players in the field as well as the persisting economic crisis, is nothing less than a very good result. Also, it validates the fact that our experience is appreciated by customers and that our offer is competitive. By the same token, obviously, the changes in market shares and the unfolding of Slovakia’s gas market appearing upon the entry of new players are comparable to the developments seen in other European countries with market liberalization experience. |
|
| |
SPP avails of four instruments in the generation of offers for its customers: the long-termed Gazprom Export contract; diversification contracts with GDF SUEZ and E.ON Ruhrgas, providing for coverage of up to 20 % of Slovakia´s annual gas consumption; supplies of gas stored in underground domes; and short-termed spot trade operations at gas nodes. They are the lodestones of our capability to guarantee reliable deliveries of natural gas at competitive prices to our customers. Appreciating that each of our clients selects his gas supplier by primarily having his individual needs on mind, we try hard to offer tailored solutions suited to individual requirements of each of them. We strive after competitiveness of our offer, not only from pricing aspects but, mainly, from viewpoints of services and care for you who are our customers. |
|
| |
Simultaneously, SPP continues developing its activities outside of the territory of the Slovak Republic. Beginning from the autumn of 2008 we have been present in the Czech market through our SPP CZ subsidiary that is gradually establishing itself as a successful alternative supplier to a broad spectrum of customers in all industrial branches, energy and heat production and services. |
|
| |
I am confident that you will continue to appreciate our cooperation and quality care in the forthcoming period as well, remaining our esteemed business partner. |
|
| |
Allow me to extend sincere thanks for your cooperation and wishes of much success in your work. |
