SPP thinks about the future of Slovakia
Each of us can influence the future and environment in which we live. SPP is a company which respects people and which is aware of its responsibility in respect of the environment in which it develops its activities. We consider meeting of our role of a natural gas supplier as our obligation, just like we consider thinking about the future of our country as our responsibility.
Concept of „SPP for the Future“
„SPP for the Future“ represents a comprehensive concept of social responsibility of SPP forming at the same time an import part the corporate strategy of our company. Our approach has been expressed in the vision, mission and values of the company as well as in the code and principles of conduct just as well as in the policy of occupational safety and health protection, environmental protection and quality control. Accomplishing the above has been strongly supported also by organizations specially established for the given purpose – SPP Foundation and EkoFond, n. f.
Pillars of „SPP for the Future“
The concept of SPP for the Future unifies business the business targets of SPP with three pillars of social responsibility formed by the people, ecology and development.
People
For SPP first and foremost are always the people. Already for several years we have been meeting the idea defines as follows: heat to people and chance to nature. This approach has been reflected in the behavior of SPP towards its employees, customers as well as environment in which we develop our business and in which we live. Through philanthropy and public benefit activities of the SPP Foundation and the non-investment fund - EkoFond we try to help the weaker or the disadvantaged, but also active people with creative thinking.
Ecology
Through its environmental experts and with the help of new technologies SPP seeks for ways of decreasing the impacts of its business activities on the environment. By means of the specially established organizations – EkoFond and SPP Foundation – we help the third entities to use energy efficiently and thus to protect the environment.
Development
SPP supplies energy whereby it contributes to promotion of the economic growth and development of regions. By providing progressive technologies and energy consultancy services we try to save energy sources and reduce emissions of green house gases. We focus on meeting the energy needs of communities in consideration of their economic benefits and environmental protection.
