Ing. Ján Valko

In 2000 he graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava. From 1998 to 2006 he worked at Allianz – Slovenská poisťovňa, a.s. as Director of the Department of Trades. From 2003 to 2007 he was as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bratislava Stock Exchange. Between 2006 and 2010, he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the General Director of the Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť, a.s. In the years 2009 - 2011, he held the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Jadrová energetická spoločnost Slovenska, a.s. In the years 2012 - 2016 he was the director of the Slovak Information Service. Since April 27, 2017 he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SPP.

Ing. Rudolf Slezák

He graduated from the Technical University of Ostrava. In 1987, he joined Metalimex - a foreign trade company. From 1991 to 1995 he served as head of the Bosch car accessories division. From 1995 to 1997, he became Commercial Director of Rajo, a.s. and for two more years he served as Commercial Director of Wienerberger slovenské tehelne, s.r.o. From 2000 to 2015, he worked in leading positions in construction companies and other trading companies. In 2011 - 2012, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Západoslovenská energetika, a.s. From 2011 until now he has been an advisor to the mayor of Bratislava - Nové Mesto. Since 2013, he has been working for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as an external consultant. Since 2015 to present he has been a member of the Board of Directors and Director of Strategy and Trade of the company Odvoz a likvidácia odpadov, a.s. Bratislava. Since 27 April 2017, he has been holding a position of Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SPP.

Ing. Ivan Gránsky

He studied Electrical Engineering at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. From 1992 to 1993, he was the Head of Investment Research in Všeobecná úverová banka, a.s. From 1993 to 1995 he served as member of the Board of Directors of Creditanstalt – Slovenský investičný fond, a.s. From 1995 to 2000, he served as Director of Investment Research and Securities Trading at Creditanstalt Securities, a.s., o.c.p. From 2000 to 2010 he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head of M&A in UniCredit CAIB Slovakia, a.s. Between 2007 and 2010, he was a member of the Board at the UniCredit CAIB Czech Republic, a.s. From 2010 to 2011 he worked as CFO at Danube Clone, s.r.o. In the years 2013 - 2016 he held the position of Chairman of the VIAMO, a.s. In 2014 - 2016 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Slovak Investment Holding, a.s. Since 1999 he has been operating on the Stock Exchange in Bratislava as a member of the Board of Directors and currently as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since 2012 until present he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Central Securities Depository of the Slovak Republic. Since 2013 until present, he has been a member of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund. Since 20 June 2018, he has been a member of the Board of the SPP.

Ing. Milan Hargaš

He is a graduate of the Department of Management of Production Industries at the University of Economics in Bratislava (1973), postgraduate studies - preparation of experts for working abroad – English language at the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava (1980), as well as post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Foreign Trade at the University of Economics in Prague (1989). From 1973 to 1980 he worked as a Head of Materials Purchasing at Slovnaft. From 1980 to 1991 he served as Head of Supply Department at the General Directorate of Naftový a plynárenský priemysel š.p. Between 1991 and 1994, he was Sales and Marketing Manager at Probugas a.s. Between 1994 and 1997, he worked in the field of economic consultancy, preparation of projects from EU sources. In 1997 he joined the state-owned company Slovenský plynárenský priemysel, where he worked as a Head of the Acquisitions and Equity Divisions until 1999. Since 1999, he has been a specialist in the acquisitions and equity management divisions. Since 2004 he has been the Head of the Internal Communication Department. From May 2007 to May 2009, he was a member of the Network Regulators Council. From June 2009 until the end of 2010, he served as Advisor to the Chairman of the Network Regulators Council. Since 31 May 2012, he has been a member of the SPP Board of Directors.

Ing. Ján Szalay

In 1984 he graduated at the Faculty of Engineering in Bratislava. In 1984 he joined the Radio Communications Administration. Until 1987 he worked there as an investment consultant. From 1987 to 1994 he was the Head of the Labor and Wage Department at the agricultural cooperative in Šamorín. From 1994 to 1995 he served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa, a.s. From 1995 to 1998 he held the position of a member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of Slovenská kreditná banka, a.s. Between 1998 and 2002, he was a member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of VUB, a.s. In 2002 he became Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and 1st Vice-President of OTP Banka Slovensko, a.s., where he worked until 2006. In 2006-2008 he held the position of Advisor to the Board of Directors of Apollo poisťovňa, a.s. Since 2009, he has been in the statutory bodies of several companies, for example as a member of the board of directors of Danubia Invest a.s. and a member of the Board of Directors of Meroco a.s. He became a member of the SPP Board on the 7 November 2016.

Ing. Štefan Šabík

In 1984 he graduated at the Faculty of Engineering in Bratislava. In 1984 he joined Slovenské elektrárne, Atomová elektráreň Mochovce. Until 1987 he worked as an investment construction technician. From 1988 to 1990, he was Head of the Office of the Director in Foreign Cooperation, Defense, Protection, Quality, Audit. From 1990 to 2003, he worked in the field of human resources on various managerial positions. From 2004 to 2007 he worked as Executive Director of Human Resources at Slovenské elektrárne, a.s. Between 2007 and 2009, he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť, a.s In the years 2010 - 2014, he was the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jadrová energetická spoločnosť Slovenska, a.s. He participated in its foundation, development and management as well as in the preparation of a new nuclear power project in Jaslovské Bohunice. Since 20 June 2014, he had been holding the position of Chairman and CEO of the SPP. Since April 27, 2017 he has been the Chief Executive Officer of the SPP.

Dr. h. c. Ing. Tibor Mikuš, PhD

Dr. h. c. Ing. Tibor Mikuš, PhD, graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava where he studied solid-state physics. After finishing his university studies, he began his professional career in the Jaslovské Bohunice Nuclear Power Plant where he held several technical and management positions, ultimately serving as the director of the company. Between 1996 and 1998 he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Slovenské elektrárne, a.s. In 1998, he was awarded the Golden Biatec Award by HN Club for his personal contribution to the construction and overall safety of the Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant. Between 2002 and 2010 he was a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, serving as the Chairman of the European Affairs Committee and also as a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. He was elected the Chairman of the Trnava Self-Governing Region for his first term in 2005, successfully defending his office in the 2009 and 2013 elections. He has been the President of the Slovak Nuclear Forum since 2000. He has achieved significant successes in the field of sports and holds multiple Czechoslovak and Slovak Karate Champion titles. He has been serving as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Slovenský plynárenský priemysel, a.s. since 2019.
