Data Privacy and Personal Data Processing

The processing of personal data of data subjects is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (the “Regulation”) and Act no. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection and on Amendments to Certain Acts (the “Personal Data Protection Act”).

The purpose of this information is to explain how the company Slovenský plynárenský priemysel, a.s., with its registered office at Mlynské nivy 44/a, 825 11 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, ID number: 35 815 256, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Bratislava I, section: Sa, file no. 2749 / B (the “company” or “SPP“) processes the personal data of the data subjects and what their rights are under the Regulation and the Personal Data Protection Act.

Pursuant to the Regulation and the Personal Data Protection Act, the company acts as a controller in the processing of personal data, i.e. as a person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data of the data subjects.

Data Protection Officer

In connection with the processing of personal data, the company has appointed a Data Protection Officer (the “DPO”), who performs the tasks arising from the Regulation and the Personal Data Protection Act.
